Indonesian Country is a big and beautiful country with a lot of islands and so many good places. We can visit so many places and found so many cultures in each island with different and unique cultures and characters. For example we will introduce two places which located in Bandung Regency -West Java, Indonesia. It is call “Kawah Putih” Lake and “Situ Patengan” Lake.
Amazing…..that how we can say after saw the beautiful lake called “Kawah Putih”. The white and green water look shiny from the lake, this phenomena influenced by sulfur there was flowing out from the earth.
“Kawah Putih” lake located at Ciwidey, Bandung Regency – Indonesia. We need about 2-3 hours to go to “Kawah Putih” lake with motorcycle or maybe need more time with car or bus.
We can enjoy a good and beautiful view on the road between Bandung City and Ciwidey because there were tea gardens that look so green and a pure village with person so humble and kind hearted. In “Kawah Putih” we can see a good view and also we can use a sulfur to heal our disorder skin if we have a problem with our skin like skin fungus.
The other place called “Situ Patengan” Lake not far away from “Kawah Putih” Lake, after we go to “Kawah Putih” Lake we can drive our car or motorcycle to reach “Situ Patengan” Lake about 5 Kilometers from “Kawah Putih” Lake. We can see a beautiful lake with mountains surrounding the lake. If we visit “Situ Patengan” lake we can enjoy a good accommodation like boat to go around of this lake. This lake full with a myth story, we can ask to guide a history of this place. According the story from the people who lives surrounding “Situ Patengan” Lake, this lake created from a goddess tears. A long time ago there was a god and goddess who loves each others, but they are parents do not agree with their relationship so they fail to marry. They feel so disappointed and decision to go far away from their kingdom and at somewhere they cry together continuously; finally their tears change into lake called “Situ Patengan” Lake.
If we will go to “Kawah Putih” lake and “Situ Patengan” lake there was little bit tips just incase if we don’t like to get trouble in traffic jam:
Don’t go to “Kawah Putih” lake at afternoon because we can see anything if we go there.
Don’t go to “Kawah Putih” lake with public transportation because we need a lot of time and we feel boring.
Don’t go to “Kawah Putih” lake in peak season like 17th August (Indonesian Independence Day) because we will get a lot of trouble in traffic jam.
